Privacy Policy

How TRS Plugins handles opt-in diagnostics data.

This policy explains what we collect through our WordPress plugins when a site administrator chooses to opt in, why we collect it, and how to contact us about privacy requests.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 11, 2026

TRS Plugins is a joint venture between DigitalME and YMP. We build WordPress plugins and related services for website owners, agencies, and WordPress administrators.

This Privacy Policy applies to diagnostics and support-related information collected through TRS Plugins products, websites, and support channels.

Information We Collect

Some TRS Plugins products may ask a site administrator to opt in to diagnostics, usage, or support data collection. When enabled, this helps us understand plugin environments, debug compatibility issues, and improve product reliability.

Category Examples
Site environment WordPress version, PHP version, plugin version, theme or server compatibility details, and related technical diagnostics.
Site information Site URL, admin URL or domain-level site identifiers needed for support and licensing context.
Administrator contact details Administrator name and email address when provided or included as part of the opt-in diagnostics flow.
Support context Plugin settings, error context, submitted support messages, or issue details that help us reproduce and resolve problems.
Diagnostics collection is intended for product support and improvement. We do not intentionally collect website visitor content, customer lists, passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal content through diagnostics telemetry.

How We Use Information

We use diagnostics and support information for practical product and support purposes, including:

  • Providing plugin support and responding to requests.
  • Debugging compatibility issues across WordPress, PHP, plugins, themes, and hosting environments.
  • Improving plugin stability, features, documentation, and setup flows.
  • Understanding which environments our plugins need to support.
  • Detecting abuse, security issues, or misuse of our services.
  • Maintaining records needed for support, operations, and compliance.

We do not sell diagnostics data. We do not use opt-in diagnostics data to profile website visitors.

Opt-In and Opt-Out

Diagnostics collection through our plugins is typically presented as an opt-in choice inside the plugin or onboarding experience. If you do not opt in, diagnostics data should not be sent through that opt-in flow.

You can opt out by disabling diagnostics or telemetry from the plugin settings where available. If you cannot find the relevant control, contact us at support@trsplugins.com and include your site URL and plugin name.

Sharing and Service Providers

We may use service providers to operate our websites, support systems, analytics, email, hosting, logging, or product infrastructure. These providers process information on our behalf and are used to help us run TRS Plugins and support our users.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, to investigate security issues, or as part of a business transfer involving TRS Plugins, DigitalME, or YMP.

Retention

We keep diagnostics and support information only for as long as reasonably needed for support, product maintenance, security, business operations, or legal requirements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the system where it is stored.

You can request deletion of diagnostics or support records associated with your site by contacting us at support@trsplugins.com.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information we process. No online service or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices and Requests

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal information. You may also have the right to object to certain processing or request a copy of information associated with you.

To make a privacy request, email support@trsplugins.com. Please include enough information for us to identify the plugin, site URL, and email address connected to the request.

International Processing

TRS Plugins may process information in countries other than your own, depending on where our team members, infrastructure, and service providers are located. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and publish the revised policy on this page.
